TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. General
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the DTDL Dharma Shop website and the purchase of Products offered by Drigar Thubten Dargye Ling ("DTDL"), Singapore.
In these Terms and Conditions:
"Website" means the official DTDL Dharma Shop website.
"DTDL Dharma Shop" means the online store operated by Drigar Thubten Dargye Ling, Singapore.
"Product(s)" means any goods, merchandise, books, statues, ritual items, prayer items, blessed items, or other products offered for sale through the Website.
"Customer", "you", or "your" refers to any person who purchases Products from the Website.
By accessing the Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
DTDL Dharma Shop reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to situations involving:

3. Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on the Website are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

DTDL Dharma Shop reserves the right to correct any pricing or product information errors and to cancel any affected order. Where payment has already been made, a full refund will be provided.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment methods made available on the Website.
Once payment has been successfully processed, orders cannot be amended or cancelled.
Prices displayed on the Website may differ from prices offered at the DTDL centre, events, or other sales channels.
4. Product Availability
All Products are offered subject to stock availability.
If a Product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, DTDL Dharma Shop may:
(a) offer a substitute Product of similar value, subject to your acceptance; or
(b) provide a refund for the unavailable Product.
DTDL Dharma Shop shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or disappointment resulting from stock shortages.
5. Product Description and Variations
DTDL Dharma Shop makes reasonable efforts to ensure that Product descriptions and images are accurate.
Many Products sold by DTDL Dharma Shop are handmade, handcrafted, natural, or produced in limited quantities.
Minor variations in colour, size, weight, finish, texture, wood grain, gemstone appearance, metal tone, engraving, packaging, or other characteristics may occur and shall not be regarded as defects.
Product photographs are for illustrative purposes only. Actual Products may differ slightly from the images shown on the Website.
6. Consecrated, Blessed, and Customised Items
Certain Products sold by DTDL Dharma Shop may be consecrated, blessed, empowered, personalised, customised, or prepared according to Buddhist religious traditions.
Such Products are sold as religious and devotional items only.
DTDL Dharma Shop makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding any spiritual, religious, health, financial, personal, or other outcomes arising from the possession or use of such Products.
Due to their religious or customised nature, consecrated, blessed, empowered, personalised, or customised Products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless damaged or defective upon delivery.
7. Delivery
Orders are generally processed within ten (10) working days after payment has been received.
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to circumstances beyond DTDL Dharma Shop's reasonable control, including postal delays, customs clearance, weather conditions, transportation disruptions, or public holidays.
Delivery shall be deemed completed when the Product has been delivered to the address provided by the customer.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery information provided is accurate and complete.
DTDL Dharma Shop shall not be responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
8. Delivery Tracking and Lost Parcels
Where Products are shipped using registered mail, courier services, or any delivery service providing tracking information, delivery shall be deemed completed when the tracking records indicate successful delivery.
DTDL Dharma Shop shall not be liable for theft, loss, damage, or misplacement occurring after delivery has been completed.
For parcels lost during transit, DTDL Dharma Shop will provide reasonable assistance in lodging claims with the relevant postal service or courier but does not guarantee compensation where such loss is beyond its control.
9. International Orders and Customs
Customers are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Any customs duties, import taxes, GST/VAT, brokerage fees, clearance charges, or other charges imposed by the destination country shall be borne solely by the customer.
DTDL Dharma Shop shall not be responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures or regulatory requirements.
If a shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned due to customs-related issues, any refund shall be at the sole discretion of DTDL Dharma Shop and may be subject to deductions for shipping, customs, and administrative costs.
10. Return and Refund Policy
Customers should inspect all Products immediately upon receipt.
If a Product is defective, damaged during delivery, or materially different from the Product ordered, the customer must notify DTDL Dharma Shop within ten (10) days of receipt via email together with supporting photographs.
For claims involving shipping damage, photographs should include:

Upon review, DTDL Dharma Shop may, at its sole discretion:
(a) replace the Product;
(b) repair the Product where applicable; or
(c) provide a refund of the purchase price paid.
No refunds, exchanges, or returns will be granted where:

11. Title and Risk
Ownership of the Product shall pass to the customer upon full payment and delivery.
Risk of loss or damage shall pass to the customer upon delivery.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DTDL Dharma Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Website or the purchase of any Product.
The maximum liability of DTDL Dharma Shop for any claim relating to a Product shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for that Product.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude, restrict, or modify any rights which cannot be excluded under applicable Singapore law.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions or the use of the Website.
16. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiations.
If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may refer the dispute to mediation through the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC).
If mediation is unsuccessful, either party may pursue any remedy available under Singapore law.
17. Third Party Rights
A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions.
This version is suitable for DTDL Dharma Shop's sale of Dharma books, statues, prayer wheels, malas, incense, thangkas, consecrated items, retreat merchandise, and international shipments. It is also much easier for customers to read than the original 16-clause template.
