Tara is the feminine aspect of the Buddha of compassion. She is the “Mother of all Buddhas” and symbolises the wisdom of reality. It is this wisdom that gives rise to the fundamental cause of happiness, and our own spiritual growth.
A beautiful piece of printed thangka framed in Tibetan-style cloth brocade depicting the 21 Taras, each in their own form vividly.
The center image is Green Tara crowned with Buddha Amitabha. In the middle on top of her is another Buddha Amitabha.
If you are detailed enough, you would find the names of each Tara in Tibetan writing below them respectively.
A great budget alternative to hand-painted thangkas.
This thangka requires minimal maintenance.
