The book chronicles White Tara oral teachings given by H.E. Garchen Rinpoche in March 2012 at the Garchen Buddhist Institute in Chino Valley, Arizona, U.S.A. During his teachings, Garchen Rinpoche provided detailed, word-by-word commentary and instructions on the sadhana, Refined Drop of Immortality: A Longevity Mandala Practice of Ary Tara, the Wish-Granting Cakra.

Garchen Rinpoche has had an inseparable connection with Arya Tara for many lifetimes. This sadhana provides direct experience of that connection. Noble Lady Tara transmitted the sadhana directly to Trinle Yongkhyab, the seventh Garchen Rinpoche and the previous incarnation of the current and eighth Garchen Rinpoche.
